Description

Oasi degli Angeli, a tiny estate in Cupra Marittima in the Marche, makes Kurni from 100% Montepulciano grown at very high density. It has become a cult wine thanks to its extraordinary concentration.

The vintage 2009. 2009 was a warm, generous vintage on the Adriatic coast.

Black cherry, blackberry jam, cocoa, liquorice and spice; dense, velvety and opulent.

Service & pairing. Serve at 17–18 °C in a large glass, decanted an hour or two ahead. Pair with braised meats, game or aged cheeses, or enjoy as a meditation wine.
