Description
Domaine Coche-Dury in Meursault is one of the most revered white wine producers in the world, yet its production is tiny. Its village Meursault is so precise and age-worthy that it is sought after like other producers’ grands crus.
The vintage 2004. 2004 is a fresh, classic vintage for white Burgundy, with bright acidity and precision.
The famous ‘struck match’ reduction, then lemon, white peach, hazelnut and toasted brioche; tense, mineral and very long.
Service & pairing. Serve at 12–13 °C, not too cold, in a large white Burgundy glass, and let the wine open in the glass. Superb with turbot, lobster, chicken with morels or aged Comté.
