Asili is one of the most celebrated crus of Barbaresco, and Ceretto’s Bricco Asili comes from its highest part. The Ceretto family is one of the leading names of the Langhe.

The vintage 1990. 1990 was a warm, great Piedmont vintage of ripe, generous wines.

Rose, red cherry, raspberry and spice; elegant, fine-grained and long.

Service & pairing. Serve at 17 °C in a tall Nebbiolo or Burgundy glass. Decant younger vintages for two hours or more; older ones gently, to separate the sediment. Pair with veal, agnolotti or truffle.
