Description
Dom Pérignon, the prestige cuvée of Moët & Chandon, is made only as a vintage. The Rosé blends Pinot Noir and Chardonnay with a portion of Pinot Noir vinified as red wine, giving colour, depth and structure.
The vintage 1982. 1982 was a generous, ripe and abundant Champagne vintage, now showing deep, toasty maturity.
With decades in bottle, expect a copper-tinged colour, dried rose, cherry and blood orange giving way to undergrowth, spice, toasted notes and a silky, gentle mousse.
Service & pairing. Serve at 10–12 °C in a large glass. A gastronomic Champagne: lamb, pigeon, mushroom dishes, aged Parmigiano or sushi.
