Spottswoode is a family estate in St. Helena, Napa Valley, known for one of the most elegant Cabernet Sauvignons in California, from organically farmed estate vines.

The vintage 1997. 1997 was a celebrated, generous vintage in Napa Valley.

Cassis, black cherry, cedar and herbs; balanced and refined, with fine tannins and a long finish.

Service & pairing. Serve at 17–18 °C in a large glass, decanted an hour or two ahead; older bottles gently, to leave the sediment behind. Pair with grilled steak, lamb or mushroom dishes.
