Description

The 2010 vintage of Ornellaia marked the estate’s twenty-fifth harvest and was released in a special celebratory presentation. Ornellaia is a Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot from Bolgheri.

The vintage 2010. 2010 is one of the greatest Tuscan vintages of recent decades, especially for Brunello: classic, fresh and deep.

Dark berries, cassis and plum with tobacco, cocoa and Mediterranean herbs; dense, polished and long.

Service & pairing. Serve at 17–18 °C in a large glass. Decant younger vintages for one to two hours; stand older bottles upright the day before and decant gently. Pair with beef fillet, lamb or game.
