Description

Each year Ornellaia invites a contemporary artist to interpret the character of the vintage for its ‘Vendemmia d’Artista’ project, with special labels on a limited number of bottles. The wine is Ornellaia itself, a Bordeaux blend from Bolgheri.

The vintage 2015. 2015 was a sunny, outstanding Tuscan vintage of ripe, generous wines.

Cassis, blackberry, plum, cocoa and sweet spice; rich, velvety and long.

Service & pairing. Serve at 17–18 °C in a large glass. Decant younger vintages for one to two hours; stand older bottles upright the day before and decant gently. A collector’s bottle; with food, choose grilled beef or lamb.
