Description

Tenuta Greppo, the Biondi-Santi estate, is where Brunello di Montalcino was born in the nineteenth century. Its Riserva is made only in the finest vintages and is famous for its longevity.

The vintage 2013. 2013 was a cooler, classic Tuscan vintage of elegance and freshness.

Red cherry, rose, orange peel, herbs and earth; taut, high-toned and very long, built for decades.

Service & pairing. Serve at 17 °C in a tall Nebbiolo or Burgundy glass. Decant younger vintages for two hours or more; older ones gently, to separate the sediment. Pair with roast game, truffle dishes or aged pecorino.
